Choose the treatment before spending more
Getting water and purifying it are different jobs. Start by checking the water you have and the grade your customer needs. Dirty-looking water needs treatment; clear-looking water is not, by itself, proof of a safe grade.
| Method | What you do | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Tablets and pitcher filter | Use the tablet on the water; fit a filter into the Water Pitcher before pouring water through it. | These treat particular contaminants. Repeating one method may leave other contamination behind. |
| HydraTech Micro Water Purifier | Use the handheld tool on a container. | Remaining durability. Its documented target is Basewater, not the highest possible water grade. |
| Water Purifier machine | Load a container, power the machine and let it run overnight. | Removal result, power and Max Purity. Modules affect the machine’s limits. |
The water walkthrough distinguishes these treatments and their limits. If you only need a starting supply, see how to get Basewater. [1]
Run the Water Purifier
- Prepare the water container. Check what it contains and the grade you are trying to produce. Put the container in the machine’s container slot.
- Supply usable power. Check the machine’s power slot and current demand. Shop electricity being enabled is not a substitute for checking the device itself.
- Read Max Purity. The machine can stop improving water because it has reached its cap. Check the displayed limit before expecting a higher grade or buying more modules.
- Wait for the night to finish. This is an overnight process, not an instant conversion when you insert a bottle.
- Read the result and test the water. Look for Contaminant Removed (Last Night), then inspect the water’s purity or grade with the relevant testing tool. [1]
- PrepareWater + container
- Set upPower + purity cap
- WaitOvernight
- VerifyRemoval + water test
The walkthrough associates Quality modules with the purity cap, Performance with removal capacity, and Efficiency with power consumption. Check the resulting panel values instead of assuming one module arrangement works for every setup. Need to turn a module to fit? Use the inventory rotation controls. [1]
The water grade is not improving
| What you see | Check next |
|---|---|
| No overnight result yet | Finish a night after loading the machine. Then inspect the result rather than checking immediately after setup. |
| No contaminants removed | Check available power and the container slot. Then compare the water with Max Purity; already reaching the cap is different from a power failure. |
| Some removal, same grade name | Inspect purity as well as the grade name. The water may have improved without crossing into the next grade. |
| The target grade is above the cap | Check the effect of Quality modules on Max Purity. More time alone cannot lift the machine’s limit. |
| A manual treatment no longer helps | Check the remaining contaminant types and use an appropriate treatment. Another dose of the same tool is not a universal fix. |
These checks follow the described purification mechanics. The separate Mirage power report is also a useful reminder to inspect the machine’s own supply. [1][2]
Before you sell the water
Confirm the actual grade, the customer’s request and budget, and what is included in the container. If you are selling a Water Pitcher containing a Water Filter, remove the filter when prompted; this instruction is explicitly covered by the 1.0.0.5 patch. [3]
