Be friendly; still inspect the goods
Georgio’s presentation is not a guarantee of authenticity. The documented cigarette encounter shows why inspection matters before settling a price. Read the item and use the relevant identification tools rather than buying solely on his description. [1][2]
Read the amounts offered in your loan event
The source screenshot shows a run with 621 cash and lending choices of 155 or 310, plus a refusal option. Those amounts are approximately a quarter or half of the available cash, with integer rounding. Read the amounts on your screen instead of expecting those exact numbers. [2]
- Work out what must remain in cash. Include the next rent payment and the stock you need to keep trading.
- Compare the offered choices. The larger loan leaves less working cash. Refusal is a separate choice; it should not be described as producing the same repayment.
- If you lend, note the actual amount. Keep the IOU or associated quest item instead of treating it as ordinary disposable stock.
- Watch later visits and dialogue. Collect repayment when that event occurs. Do not assume a borrowed amount will be back before your next obligation. [1][2]
What “4× repayment” means
Both the community storyline reference and the Tpose guide report four times the amount lent as total repayment. That is a statement in their written guides; the available screenshots do not show a complete before-and-after balance calculation. [1][2]
The sources include actual return and interest dialogue, but that does not make every proposed lending strategy risk-free. This guide does not recommend always lending the maximum.
Do not schedule your rent around a fixed return date
The Tpose screenshots show lending on day 43 and a return on day 49 in that run, while parts of its text describe different lending windows. The community reference also distinguishes an early return linked to rent trouble from normal return conditions. These are reasons to avoid a universal “he always returns after 8–10 days” rule. [1][2]
Use current quest dialogue and visits as the operational signals. For planning a larger cash purchase, the shop-buying guide explains the separate Sunday requirement.
