Check the machine, not just the shop’s electricity
An original Steam report describes the confusing situation: the shop had electricity enabled, but the Mirage Projector did not seem to do anything. A reply pointed to the machine’s own power supply, and the person who asked confirmed that supplying it resolved the issue. This is a reported fix, not just an untested suggestion. [1]
- Open the projector. Inspect its power slot and the condition of the power source.
- Supply usable power. Meet the machine’s displayed requirement. An empty cell does not become charged because the store has electricity.
- Note Store Attractiveness. This is the status you will compare after the overnight effect.
- Finish the night. Open Status the next day and check the result. [1][2]
Still no visible effect?
| Check first | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| The projector’s own supply | The reported resolution was to power the machine itself, not simply enable the shop’s electricity service. |
| A completed night | The effect is described as an overnight change, not an immediate animation on inserting the cell. |
| Store Attractiveness | Inspect the relevant status instead of using one day’s sales as the only test. |
If those conditions are met and it still fails, compare the current machine tooltip with the linked discussion and item reference. The sources do not establish every possible fault or a universal module layout. [1][2]
For fitting modules, see the Q/E rotation controls.
